I loved your post and SALT.
Christmas was very simple for me too. I had to accept the fact that were things that I just wasn't going to do this year. I made it through it fine. My mother has dementia and it has been a long 2 years taking care of her - she is now in a memory care home. I have had to learn to accept reality and go on. My home has become a disaster over those past 2 years and I am vowing to take the time to get my life in order now.

your post was so heartfelt and so true. i wish i had made my holiday more simple, maybe then i would not have been left feeling the way i have been for so long....whatever, i was blessed with a day filled with family that had a fabulous time - what more could i ask for (except to get rid of these migraines!!!). "SALT" is a wonderful "key" to remember. may 2011 shine brightly for all of you.
hugs and more,
