Great photo Carol, I can almost smell that cobblers from 12,000 miles away! I can't wait to make one for dessert tonight. Our family's the same especially with speckled bananas. When I first add them to the fruit bowl they just disappear. But once they grow old, lose their firmness, get the odd age spot everyone turns their nose up at them - past their use-by date. That sounds familiar! Love our chats, thank you.

Well arent you just full of inspiration .... turns out i had some wrinkled apples in my rrefrigerator too ... and now i have a cobbler in the oven baking ... easy enough to make ... and if it tastes as good as the bowl and spoon ... its a winner!!

now that looks delicious and i can almost smell the cinnamon!!! i will have to try this recipe even without "wrinkled" apples. and the vanilla bean on top is just perfect. once again you inspire me............except i will have to exercise it off........LOL!!!!
