i almost did not take the time to "smell the roses" by reading your blog today! i just love your picture - it caputures the beauty of the flower (and to think they only cost $6.00). i picked up ellie today and have her with me for a few days and had to check something on the computer and did not want to take time away from her.......this picture was worth it. back to my greatest joy in all the world - being grandma!!!!
hugs and more to you

I just fell in with this blog by some random chance and the moment I saw that photo of the rose, I'm officially taken. The shadows stand out. Kind of like the vintage feel in bisaya short films.

They smell sooo good, don't they??? However, that's $6.00 i could have spent on craft items! LOL. Enjoy your day.

Carol...haven't seen any roses around here to smell and live quite far from Sam's. Though when walking Bev, our black lab/collie, I did spy a purple tulip in someone's yard. Didn't walk across the street to smell it....Bev might have chosen to mark her territory or something, so didn't take the chance. I will have tulips coming up soon in my yard, though. Have two iron beds, one white, one black that sit out in my back yard. Placed them where the previous owners had areas of flowers growing....wala! Two instant flower "beds"!!! Will have to take pictures when everything is in full bloom along with my gumball machine stand birdfeeder and ashtray stand birdbath!!! Thanks for the roses! deb
