Hi Carol. Your post brings back so many happy memories. We would come home from school and my mom would be making hot dogs and beans in a large frying pan. We would eat it with white bread and butter. Loved it. Thanks for the memories.

Sounds good . . . BUT -- CAROL!!!! So much for the notion of mom not cooking!! That's way more effort than hot dogs and beans! :>) My measure: If a plate gets dirty, Mom cooked.


Weenie Zoop, that what we call it! Plus we just got a mini long haired weenie doggie this weekend!


Carol, how about "Winter Weenie Warm Up Soup". Who doesn't enjoy a big bowl of soup and a crusty loaf of homemade bread this time of year. Have a pot of corn chowder with potatoes and bacon simmering on the stove at this moment!!
