The Heirloom Collection Series 8: "ONCE UPON A DAYDREAM"!

Think back to the days of your childhood.  Can you remember those sweet moments (or hours) when you indulged in reverie, or daydreaming?  I sure can.

It seems that my best daydreaming time came when I was outside in the garden on a warm (or, most likely, hot :)) summer day.  I would be comfortably ensconced in a padded lounge chair, decked out in my latest swimsuit, with my body slathered in baby oil (remember those days????).  The birds would be chirping in the background and my mind would start drifting...to new outfits that I wanted to make or buy, to some guy that I thought was cute at the time, to how I wanted to fix up my room, or maybe to an upcoming family vacation.  It was a great way to pass an hour or so...until my mom figured out that I was idle and needed some chores to do!

 

Daydreaming isn't a challenge for most children, is it?

It's when we "grow up" and have responsibilities and people counting on us that we sometimes forget that we really need that small indulgence of a little time to daydream.

The newest Heirloom Collection album is all about helping you remember that a bit of reverie, or daydreaming, really is a pleasure, one to be cherished and passed along to future generations.  Or, it would be a fabulous way to collect the dreams of your children or grandchildren so that they could remember them when they got older.

Shimmery organza photos, soft water colored backgrounds, a quilted fabric bird, and a hand made pin board are just a few other wonderful techniques that you will learn.
