It's July and here in the Northern Hemisphere, some of us have already taken a much deserved and needed vacation while others are still in the planning or anticipation mode. I love to travel and I love to take pictures of what I see...but it's really frustrating to come home with all of these fabulous images without a creative way to display them.
Enter "A Trip To Remember", a funky folder travel journal with six 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" interior pages to fill with your photos, stories and fond (or maybe not so fond :) memories. Of course, what's six pages when so many of us come home with tons and tons of photos? So, to provide some additional photo space, we are going to build a book within a book.

This interior book that we will build from scratch is a tag flag book which will give you 18 mini surfaces on which to create. Imagine that? Eighteen little pages for your thoughts and photos. Wow, how cool is that?
If you're new to book arts or if you've never created a book from scratch, no worries. I will walk you through each step of this cool book and will provide photos of each step. Trust me on this, you won't believe how easy it really is. And, funky on top of all of that!
Here are some of the featured products in this kit: a unique folder to form the base, travel/postage papers from Making Memories, several types of tags, ribbons and trims, new hardware from Tim Holtz's idea-ology line and 7 gypsies, fabrics, flowers, sticker letters and rub-ons.
This is definitely a fun project and it comes complete with a full set of instructions with color photos.
What if you don't have any trips to journal about? Well, how about "A Day (or year) To Remember" or "A ______(event...you fill in the blank) To Remember"? There's always something out there that you will want to remember.
PLEASE NOTE THIS MONTH'S ORDERING DIFFERENCE: The only difference this month is that there will be three different product boxes in the PayPal storefront, depending on where the kit will be shipped...one box is for shipping within the US, one is for shipping to Canada and one is for shipping to all other international locations. Each box has the shipping destination and corresponding total dollar amount...just click on the appropriate box and then the process is just like previous months. Doing this will eliminate the need for me to collect additional dollars before shipping out the kits.
The kits are available for pre-order right now will begin shipping July 23rd.
I've kept the pricing the same as previous months...$40.00 for the kit, $9.00 shipping within the US, $15.00 shipping to Canada and $20.00 shipping to other international locations.
I'm looking forward to sharing this project with you...I've already got mine half filled with photos and journaling...of course, I've got a bit of a head start, don't I?
As always, thanks for reading, for your interest and for your orders.
From my studio to yours,
P.S. Since quantities are limited, you may want to reserve your kit as soon as possible...I've gotten emails all week from disappointed people who missed out on June's white book kit...so pre-order today! :)
ETA: KITS ARE ALL SOLD OUT...THANKS SO MUCH!
Holy smokes! Look at all the pics you got in there! WOW! I am truly inspired by your work! BEAUTIFUL!

I love your creations, they are beautiful, as I also love old lace, buttons, old linens and have boxes of them that I refuse to get rid of. But now I am inspired to make use of them and show them off.
