smelling like dirt!

In the spring,
at the end of the day,
you should smell like dirt.   (MARGARET ATWOOD, Woman's Day Magazine, Apr. 1, 2007)

So be it, Margaret!  It's spring...it's the end of the day...and I smell like dirt.

It's so worth it, though...the back yard looks tended again...the containers are filled with little posies...there's lots of color out there...and I'm off to shower!  :))  It's been fun reading about the colors you are loving...here are some of the flower colors I'm loving today!

You know you want some fresh snow! :)
I love the colors!!! My thermometer is reading 30 at this very moment, so it's a good thing mine aren't blooming yet. :)

Just gorgeous!

Wow you planted flowers and I planted Veggies today - Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Parsley & Sunflowers. It was a great day. Your flowers are beautiful.

Oh my what beautiful flowers the colors are so vibrant. I had to show my Dad and he is jealous. It is not "freezing" in NY but still too cold for his beautiful garden to be tended to. Enjoy all your "pretties"! Hugz Grace

Carol these are beautiful! Love the colors. Everything I plant on our balcony seems to die. Im horrible at it. Any suggestions for a balcony that gets some sun? I even love getting dirty lol

Gorgeous pics of perfect flowers. You do have a green thumb Carol. Dirt smell, a new patented fragrance line? Oh, InStyle magazine April08 has a Color issue...lots of accessories in colors, fashion in colors, rooms in color, makeup, etc. Thought you might be interested...
