retail therapy
I truly hope that I'm not the only one that falls back on this...
Truly hope that I'm not the only one who sometimes uses buying as therapy.
Tell me I'm not.
On Friday, I headed over to Scrapbooks, Etc. to drop off something, only to be asked by at least 4 of my enabling friends at the store if I'd seen the new Making Memories products that just came into the store. I had seen a couple of new papers (the ones with die cuts-aren't they fabulous?) the previous day but was in the middle of teaching and didn't have time to savor and buy.
Well, needless to say, I bought quite a bit...and yes, I'm the one that cleaned out several of the 5thAve papers at the store. :))
I LOVE this little journal...filled with different shaped papers...can't wait to fill it.
And then...be still my heart...check out these coordinating ribbons and die cuts.
Is it any wonder that I walked out of that store with a huge smile?
I don't make a habit of buying my way to happiness but I must say that these wonderful little goodies definitely inspired me and made me happy...they are absolutely delightful!
I'm having so much fun working on the February project...the retail therapy sure helped...look for some peeks on my blog tomorrow!

Hi I2m from Turkey I love your all posts and scraps. Hugs & regards :)

Carol,
You are NOT the only one! Believe me, retail therapy, has gotten me through many a crisis (usually emotional crises...it that a word?) Anyway, just remember, its definitely cheaper than real therapy AND you have something tangible to show for it!
Take Care and hope to see you at CHA!

Carol:
Where did you get the little black journal with the different size pages? Not that I need another mini-album to fill (I have an entire drawer filled with them!), but it is unbelievably cute, and I love b/w prints.

Will we be seeing a 5th Avenue kit? ;)
I'm so excited about that new line. I can't wait to go shopping!
Also, I'm terribly sorry to read about your friend's untimely passing. How very tragic.
