I Love...
...when I find a project I'd forgotten about.
Several weeks ago, I was rooting in the back corner of my closet and felt something hard. I pulled and tugged until it came out..."it" was a vintage wine box made into a shadow box and book of Paris.
This was a project that I had made for The Book Book, published by Autumn Leaves a number of years ago.
The box was photographed but the book portion never made it into the book.
This was the cover of the ribbon bound book. It was one of the first times that I stamped with paint.
That was totally a fun project to make.
Under the little metal sign is a fold out mini book that recorded what I liked and disliked about Paris.
Here's what it says:
"Loved the style...not the attitude.
Enjoyed the food...not the wait staff.
The sights were great...wish I had more time to see them."
I love that I took time to record my thoughts...it makes it so much easier to remember my time there.

Your book has spurred me on to make mine. I took my daughter to Paris last June for 10 days for her high school graduation. The pictures are still in the Ritz camera box! Also, I loved the Book Book so much that I read it to death and it feel apart. It was my first real glimpse of the mini album...actually it was everyone's first real glimpse! And speaking of mini album I'm about to put the finishing touches on the latest one of your's that I ordered. I love your little chunky books.....keep them coming!!
