Blog...what blog?
And that's about how it feels. It's been a while since I touched base...way too long.
It's been a wild and wonderful week and half, though, with so much to do and so little time...you all know the mantra!
Saturday was a fabulous day...Le Jour d'Artiste...a whole day of class projects. What a great time...and our artistes were wonderful! I can't believe they were able to accomplish as much as they did. We gave them a few little breaks between classes but, for the most part, the whole day was spent creating. I didn't get pix of the decorations...there were some awesome dress forms for name tags and just for fun...lots of prizes with gift bags handmade by Jennifer and great food (I would have been totally happy with just the strawberries dipped in chocolate, also made by Jennifer...pure bliss!).
Thanks for all of your emails about the day...you guys crack me up with wanting to know when we're doing our next one...a little recovery time needed...for sure!
Sunday night, we celebrated my mother-in-law's 83rd birthday at Macaroni Grill...Mom definitely enjoyed getting out as well as opening her gifts. She and Dad leave for home (Pennsylvania) on Saturday after being out here since Christmas...too bad they're leaving when the weather is getting so nice.
This week has been kit week...due to the overwhelming response, I ended up hiring some help this time...thanks so much to all who ordered! Today, I have to clean up the mess...my bags from Saturday haven't even been unpacked...shameful, I know. :))
It's a gloriously gorgeous day today and I'm going to get outside and walk...clear my head a little and enjoy the sunshine. The pic is from our sunny backyard.
What's been happening in your world over the last couple of weeks?
I feel woefully out of touch...so fill me in on what I missed, 'K?

I'm sitting here waiting on the postman...I can hardly wait to get the kit.
I'm so jealous of all the people who get to go to your classes...**sigh** maybe someday.
I'm in east TN so we have some warm days and some cold days...today is a cold day, but sunny. I can hardly wait til the sun comes and stays. I'm so over winter...Now if we would get a big snow I could stand it a little longer, but just cold dreary days I can do without...
Love the pics of your backyard. It looks so peaceful...I need to take a walk too. Maybe the postman will bring my package while I'm out walking...
Take care
Louise

I figured the artist is in creative mode hence no blog posts in a week. It's a sign of great things to come. :)

Seriously Ms. Carol, a great day, and such a great time by all... so talented, so fast paced, so wonderful... can't wait to do it again! I am so fired up for creating after last saturday, not one minute in front of the TV, all evening time has been in the scrap room... thanks for the c'est magnifique day, it was tres jolie! And those chocolate dipped strawberries, well, yum! See you soon
