Enough is enough. The clutter is totally getting to me so my agenda today is to bust through most of it.
My supply rolling duffle that I brought back from Boston is still packed. Add to that, when security totally dismantled my suitcase to check every ink pad, rubber stamp, container of glue and of course, the most lethal of weapons, the Crop-A-Dial, they literally threw everything into the suitcase. I pack all of the spillables into plastic shoe boxes and they inserted them upside down which caused one of my craft paint containers to spill. Fortunately, the mess is contained to stuff in the plastic box...which is mostly paints, glue, Omni Gel and inks. Time to unpack and clean up that mess.
I had project samples due for Wishfest this week...the mess from those samples is still out on the kitchen counter.
I had a Life Stories class at Scrapbooks, Etc. yesterday and all the stuff I took to class, plus the never ending purchases I made while at the store are on the family room floor. (The page above is one of the ones we did in class.)
My dryer is on the blink...the rubber gasket which keeps the drum from rubbing against the dryer metal is shot...for the fifth time. Fortunately, I had an extended warranty which covered the repairs the first 4 times. Unfortunately, the extended warranty ran out several months ago. Very, very early this morning, I paid a visit to Lowe's and a new Bosch dryer to match the front load washer we bought several months ago will be delivered this afternoon. Good thing as the laundry pile is HUGE!
There's a box of product from cherry Arte in Australia (they are sponsoring my classes in Edmonton in October) which needs to be kitted up this weekend for my classes at Canada's Scrapbooking Crop for Kids. One less box on the floor once the kits get done and shipped out. Yay!
I think that's plenty to keep me busy for a good part of the day.
On a little different note, last night we celebrated Ashley's 22nd birthday by taking her out to House of Tricks in Tempe. It was a great dinner! We are really blessed to have her as our daughter...plus, I really enjoy being her mom. We love you and thank God for you, Ash!
Better go get some stuff done...blogging is an awesome way to procrastinate! Happy Labor Day Weekend!
I'm off to bust some clutter!
