Today marks my 100th post. I started thinking about this blog, about journaling, about making new friends through the process...I honestly never imagined this.
It reminded me of the project I created for the Basic Grey Be Bold contest last year. It was a round accordion fold book cut to fit inside a vintage film cannister given to me by one of my students. I chose the topic, "I Never Imagined" and wrote about the past 5 years of my life...the journey in the memory arts world that has brought me to where I am today. The friends I've made, both near and on the other side of the world...being able to create and write...inspiring others and being inspired...all amazing rewards I've experienced.
It's a happy story...not really deep, just fun and very exciting. I didn't win anything for my entry from Basic Grey but what it did for me was to tangibly express my gratitude to the many people who have been part of my life in these past few years. I thought I'd share my entry pages...here they are. Each page contains something that either lifts or pulls out that tells the story behind the pictures...
Thanks for being a part of my life...this part that I never imagined!

This is such a cool project, the photos can hardly do it justice! congrats on your 100th post. Tena
